As a State Heritage Listed building, the Priory came under the care and management of the Hunters Hill Council in 2008. As part of the Council's Conservation Management Plan, restoration works were carried out "from the gutters up". That is, restoration of the roof structure, chimneys, re-pointing of the upper sandstone walls, repair and painting of eaves, barges and window and replacement of gutter downpipes.

Situated at 107 Crystal Street, Petersham is one of the few remaining Art Deco town halls in Sydney. To ensure it's original condition is maintained, Marrickville Council contracted AJB to repair, stabilise, restore and conserve the facade components of the Petersham Town Hall and Clock Tower.
