Following the demolition of the original building, AJB constructed the most advanced Nuclear Scintigraphy Unit for the University of Sydney's Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Camden. The construction process included the installation of the state-of-art technology, Skylight Oceania gamma camera and concrete shielded walls to ensure compliance with strict safety requirements.
At the Katoomba Hospital located in the Blue Mountains, we built the first multi-purpose indoor hydrotherapy pool at the hospital. The pool heats to 31-32 degrees Celsius with air temperature control. The project included all water purification and treatment processes. The pool is easily accessible for people with disabilities or wheelchair bound clients, with ramps accessing the building down to pool level.
Part of the Australian Government's economic stimulus package as a response to the GFC, "Building the Education Revolution" (BER), AJB built a total of 12 primary school buildings ranging from libraries, school halls, canteens, homebases to COLAs.
The locations were spread across Northern Sydney from Dural, Hunters Hill, Middle Harbour, Mosman, Berowra, Annangrove, Galston, Asquith, Mt Colah, Hazelbrook, Melrose Park to Clarke Road School in Hornsby
