Albury Station

Albury Railway Station is a significant historic transport building

Opened in 1882, Albury Railway Station served as the break-of-gauge between the New South Wales and Victorian rail networks and remains a significant heritage landmark reflecting the development of interstate rail travel in Australia. The project involved the re-roofing of the operational heritage building, installing traditional galvanised Custom Orb sheeting to the platform canopy and new slate roofing to the main entrance building. These works reinstated the building’s original roof materials and restored key elements of its historic character.
